Cut each sheet 1 4 inch shorter than the distance from the floor to the ceiling.

Combine one part pva glue with four parts water in a disposable paint tray and mix thoroughly.

Drive four finishing nails through the top edge of the panel.
Masonry screws work best on plaster regular panel nails will not be able to penetrate the plaster.

Place a wood panel against the wall in a corner with the base resting on top of the baseboard.
If the walls have no studs apply a panel adhesive to the back of the beadboard and to the wall.
If your paneling is tongue and groove place the groove.
Press the panel back to the wall and it should hold very firmly.
Position the panel on the wall leaving a 1 4 inch space at the bottom and drive the four nails partway into the wall.
Press all over the surface to assure glue transfer to the wall.
